A longhorn steer got loose on Friday during the Ride for the Brand Cattle Drive. The steer managed to escape while being transported and nervously ran into the downtown street.

The street was crowded with people, none of whom got hurt, as the steer raced towards a building. Spectators were mix of terrified and screaming and attempting to help the handler, who followed the animal on horseback to attempt to lasso it.
